Wunderbook fighting against social norms

a community taking

on the corporations

In a world where everyone is trying to take their pound of flesh and big corporations are trying to dictate your actions, Wunderbook stands up for the underdog—the one who takes risks and goes it alone against all odds and the lessons we were taught growing up.

We want to support and guide this thriving industry because we understand how tough it is and how little help you receive.

We all know the best coffee isn’t from big corporate coffee shops but from small corner shops filled with love and passion for what they do.

The problem is, they don’t have big budgets and fancy marketing teams to make any noise. This is where Wunderbook comes in.

Imagine a vibrant community of service providers united on a single platform, working together to be seen and heard. Wunderbook connects and guides, amplifying the voices of those who truly care about their craft.

A rich community doesn’t build itself—it takes collective effort, a diversity of interests, activities, and ideas that cross-pollinate and build something greater than their individual parts.

Together, we are stronger.

We don't charge out partners

After owning two CrossFit gyms in Dublin for over a decade (yep, still standing), I’ve seen it all, the endless bills, the constant pressure to succeed, and of course, the joy of chasing down payments like it’s an Olympic sport. Naturally, that’s how Wunderbook was born, a FREE booking platform that actually gives something back to its community. Shocking, right?

I learned early on that running a gym without a booking system was like trying to do burpees on ice. So, I tried a few. Some were decent, but they all had one thing in common: they were selling you something, and once the ink was dry, they ghosted like they’d just PR’d their sales target and moved on.

Even the ones that swore they’d reduce admin stress and send clients knocking down my door, still I was left me chasing card payments. Seriously, I loved coaching, but asking for money? Felt like begging even though I knew my service was worth every penny. And the promises of growth? Yeah, still waiting.

So, we decided to fix the basics with Wunderbook.

We built a user-focused booking system where everyone’s on one platform, and we have a strict no pay, no book policy. That’s right, no more chasing payments, it’s like Christmas came early. With an open platform, users and companies both benefit from the network effect of our growing community. Businesses get to do what they love, focus on their killer classes or events, and leave the boring admin to us, whilst we also help you connect and grow.

“But why user-focused and not companies?” you ask. Well, the users pay a tiny 2% booking fee, which saves the companies a ton of money. Plus, it means our goals are aligned, we’re all about making businesses thrive, not just collecting a fee and bailing. We work with companies to improve their services, build their communities, and grow their reach.

Because at the end of the day, together we’re stronger, less admin, more gains.
